PROGRAMME EASTER FESTIVAL 2007 - KARASJOK / KÁRÁŠJOHKA
Tuesday 18th of March
15:00 – 17:00 Childerensday
Wednesday 19th of March
1100 - 1600 Sami sport by the stadium by the sportshall. Family skiing, lasso throwing course, reindeer race and lasso throwing competition. Sami food will be served.
2000 - 2100 Sami Fashion Show at the outdoor scene, Sápmi Park. Fashion, music, poetry, belly dance etc. Free entrance.
2030 - 2130 Sami clothes exhibition at Karasjok Kroa.
2200 - Concert at Bivdu pub with sami artists
Maundy Thursday 20th of March
1300 - 1800 Visit a sami camp (Kirstte Biret Siida). Sami food are to be served and there`s also possibility to drive with reindeers.
2000 - 2100 Concert with Sami artists
2200 - Concert at Bivdu pub.
2200 - 2400 Joik competition at Karasjok Kroa. Awards!
Good Friday 21st of March
1200 - 1800 Jergul games - games for all ages. Skiing, lasso- and sami shoe throwing, food and drinks, lottery etc.
2100 - 2300 Concert with Sami artists
Easter Day 22nd of March
0830 - 1300 "Karasjok-rennet" (ski competition)
1200 - 2200 Pub and serving of food at Bivdu pub.
1200 - 1700 Karacross (stadioncross for snowmobiles)
1700 - 2130 After stadioncross disco at Karasjok Kroa
2200 - 0300 Easter party at the sportshall with Sami and Norwegian artists.
Easter Sunday 23rd of March 1300 - Easterskiing from Ássebákti to Gárdin (Ravnastua)
1700 - Arrangement at Gárdin. Concert with local artists.
2200 - 2400 Disco dance competition at Karasjok Kroa.
From 15th of March to 23rd of March
Daily departures; dogsledging, snowmobiletrip with guide, elksafari, trips according to own wishes,
lávvu hotel, bath tub and sauna. All this at Teigmo Helsegĺrd. Booking in advance; 918 39 178 (www.teigmo.no).

Art exhibition at Sami Artist Centre with Hege Annestad Nilsen (paintings, photo, installations and video).

The Easter Festival Kárášjohka / Karasjok
The Easter festival of 2007 is fast approaching, and Festivaler Karasjok will therefore, and hereby, give you all a warm welcome. We sincerely hope that big and small, adults and kids will spend some great days here with us throughout our Easter Festival.
